The villa is integrated with a park landscape through large glass curtains that allow spatial orientation and transparency, inviting the users to constant interaction with the nature. The landscape design provides a constant variety of visual attractiveness and sensational volatility through the seasons. Materials used in the external and interior design are traditional, natural, of predominantly warm brown tones, with minimal final treatment, ensuring a feeling of warmth and connection with the nature for the owner and all other users.
The design is both innately beautiful and functional; a concept that Shelly and Avi Osadon, the husband and wife duo behind SEE Materials and SEE Construction, flawlessly choreographed. Upon arrival, the first of a series of show-stopping moments is its impressive scale with an attention to detail that is never compromised. The grand pivot door sweeps open to reveal a 36-foot high ceiling and gleaming chandelier comprised of 25 custom, glass-blown globes. This enormous entry space offers a view through the home to the backyard in one continual gaze.
The parents loved the original design approach implemented by AA Interiors for their two sons’ projects and so their need was to create a new home where the whole family could gather and where the brief to the design team was to capture a modern farmhouse which incorporated glamorous elements with an emphasis on barefoot luxury and the use of natural materials.
